Position description:
MACON HOUSING AUTHORITY (MHA) seeks Manager of Technical Services to effectively supervise and coordinate activities of approximately 30-40 workers engaged in maintaining & repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. Determines schedules, sequences & assignments based on work priority, equipment & personnel. Analyses information to determine needed installations, services or repairs. Develops, implements & evaluates maintenance policies & procedures. Works with upper management on objectives & annual budget to determine maintenance operations’ objectives. Manages major remodeling & transformation projects as well as new construction. Responsible for monitoring capital grant budgets. Prepares & submits all required HUD documents.

Education/Experience:
Prefer college degree in Construction Management or related field. Min. 3 years management/supervisory experience in construction, building maintenance or related field. A combination training/experience/education that provides required knowledge/skill/ability is acceptable.
